Restaurant closing

After a long struggle to try to get the restaurant to economic viability, we are finally forced to cease operations as of September 1st.

We would like to thank our loyal customers who supported us during our tenure. In the end, we just could not overcome the remoteness of the location. We wish all of you the very best.

Larry Joe Taylor show

WOW! Last night Larry Joe and Steve Lane put on a great show and just blew us all away! We had a really good turnout and everyone had a great time. We even had a bona-fide celebrity in the audience. This was LJT's CD release party for our area and he certainly did not disappoint. The show went on until past 11 and still no one wanted to leave.

Next Friday night we have another great show lined up, this one with Kelly McGuire, John Arthur Martinez and Susan Gibson. Because it is on a Friday I expect another good crowd so, if you want an upfront seat I suggest you get your tickets early!

Ciao,
Mark

Kelly McGuire/Mark Mulligan show

On Wednesday night Kelly McGuire and Mark Mulligan put on another great show. We also have another show next week. On Thursday the 5th Larry Joe Taylor will be in for a show that is sure to be a lot of fun. It is also LJT's local release party for his new CD. We have quite a number of really good shows lined up all the way into July, so check the entertainment calendar on our Web site.

If you are on the site and you wish to be on our email notification list you can register right there so that you will always be kept up-to-date on our events.
If you are interested in a special Easter Sunday dinner please let me know. If there is enough interest I will put it together. I believe that we are going to be mentioned in next Thursday's Whine and Dine section of the Houston Chronicle, so keep your eyes open for that.
If you have any thoughts or comments please feel free to post them. Thanks.

March 17

Happy St. Patrick's day to everyone! Thursday night we had a great show with Kelly McGuire and Dana Cooper. Dana arrived from the airport, but his luggage never did. Luckily, he did have his guitar and, with some borrowed harmonicas, put on his usual great performance. Thanks to Kelly and Dana.

Kelly will be back again on the 28th, with fan-favorite Mark Mulligan. Tickets are on sale now so, if you are a trop rock fan, call and reserve your seats. We have been booking more shows, so don't forget to check the entertainment calendar on our web site.

We are now enjoying our best weather for outdoor dining on the patio and people have been taking advantage of that of late. We are running some great specials this weekend, including the popular Steak and Snow Crab dinner.
Don't forget, every Wednesday is all-you-can-eat pasta night and Thursdays are pizza nights until further notice. Come out and see us when you get a chance. We have been getting quite busy most Friday and Saturday nights, so you might want to call and make a reservation.
That's all for now ...

March 8

Hi folks. Last night was the first of our Thursday night pizza nights. It was successful and we had a nice turnout. I would like to thank all of you who came out. Surprisingly enough, the most popular pizza last night was the Hawaiian pizza with ham and fresh pineapple. We will continue with the pizza night as long as you are interested in it. The weather was nice and we had several parties take advantage of it and dine out on the patio.

The Wednesday night all-you-can-eat pasta night went well also. We had three people who had refills, but most decided to split their plate and have two different pastas.

We are looking forward to a busy weekend and hope that you will get the opportunity to come out and join us. Don't forget that daylight saving time starts this weekend as well.
